As the ground covers in white frost, and more leaves fall from the trees, we see the beginning of a new season. Change. It reminds me of what the Christian life is all about; change and adjustment. For many, the more we change, the more we remain the same. The change in the Christian life ought to reflect growth in Christ and in His word.

LOL, Dave, you made me laugh!

Then I reflected that I look like a scarecrow in the morning as well--my long hair poofed out in all directions, and definitely bedraggled!

I pull myself out of bed, usually at 4:40 AM to take my son to the pool...Somehow we get across town.

But on the way home...I start praying to my Father. He is so awesome, He is so good. So many times I can feel His presence around me as I praise and worship Him.

And then there is a smile...Just the joy of knowing Him, who is my strength...

I am grateful to have passed through a storm these last few days when those old emotional triggers fired off in me and the old negative ways tried very hard to have their way. I am grateful today that my coping skills have triumphed and in a relatively short time.
