I'm still stuck on John Wayne "Quiet Man" an oldie
and "Nemo" a not so oldie. Oh there are so many more I will have to have more time to pass on more titles.

Try "Fiddler on the Roof". It is a older movie (1971) with no big name stars, but a very good plot within a musical.

It was 38 degrees this morning when I took my son to the pool. Brrrrrrr. I'm just glad I don't live in North Dakota....or Iowa....

"Awakenings" is a tear jerker but I though it was very good.

"A Beautiful Mind" also awesome. It also made me cry. I have worked with people with schizophrenia and I thought about those folks and the turmoil they were going throuogh too.

My all time favourite is ... I had it and my niece distracted me now it is gone. A senior moment. lol.

I can remember when I saw it I thought it was so good but figured because of its christian message it would not be considered for an award. I was working as an RN the night of the Award ceremony in a seniors care home. As I gave out my evening meds I would keep checking in with the residents who were watching TV to see what was happening. I was very excited when it won.

An interesting side note is that Iwent to Bible school with a relative of the lead character. Eric Liddell.

We had a lovely dose of sunshine and warmth today I think it got up to 18 C. It will rain again tomorrow am then clear up but it is supposed to start being much colder especially at night. I don't mind I love the clear skies.

Another really good OLDIE movie is Singin in the Rain with Debby Reynolds, Gene Kelly and Donald OConner.
