That's true, Dave. And the night I landed here, too discouraged to fly and maybe leaving for good, both you and Cindy and several others helped me get back into the air. And I love you all for the love you showed me that night. I was so hurt, and you helped so much.

But I'm thinking that it doesn't help us to snip at each other here. It creates a negative atmosphere, when we should be encouraging and helping each other....or at least chuckling over something someone said. And yes, I know that there is a problem here, and I'm not blind. I'm just using my ignore list. Such a nice function!

Another beautiful day in West Texas. We had a fog here this morning, so unusual for the high plains. I have to get my 16-year-old to the Aquatic Center every morning by 6:00 AM, which means I feel like I am hurtling through the night. This morning when I got back it was still dark--but the mist had brought out the smell of things green and growing.

I always think as I stand outside in the early morning of that passage in Lamentations where Jeremiah speaks of the compassion of the Lord. So I offer you this thought this morning:

This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope,
Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

--Lamentations 3:21-24​

May you all have a lovely day in the Lord, and may you remember that His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning.

I play the keyboard....one of those electric jobs that you can push a button and make it sound like an organ.

I get so much JOY turning it on organ and playing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"

I was going to go to a friend's son's ballgame tonite, but we are having some huge thunderstorms and flooding, so that's not going to happen.
Don't you love playing the keyboards? Espescially on a rainy day like today!

I love playing the keyboard at high volumn...and when its on organ I love to play church music too....but most of all...Christmas Carols

There is only one thing I love more than the keyboard and that is SINGING

My children grew up with a singing mother and when my grandbabies were born I sang to them. They called me their singing grandma.

How wonderful. My 28 year old disabled son still remembers the songs his gramma sang to him as a 3 yr old. I don't play any thing very well, just the guitar a wee bit. I wasn't a very studious music student although I have also loved singing all my life and was usually in choirs and glee clubs growing up. Jan

Aw, that just warms my heart. We have such a musical group here. We have Jim--I still have this picture of him playing at 3 AM, maximum volume, and Claire, and Spring. And others!

I play piano. I was learning violin, along with my kids but gave it up a couple of months ago. I've been trying to tell myself to go back and pick it up again--so far that hasn't happened. I sing, too, Spring.

What lovely music we all enjoy! All this and heaven too!

Once I was the most active-person in a church, always the 1st. to Volunteer, no task was too small or great. I am in the habit of giving, & Giving, & ..., ~ so busy with this, 30-yrs. flew by before realizing how few of us love; & this for
altruistic reasons. Maybe even an 80-yr. old preacher, can give the Latter? some *more consideration*.
