"Our pet, Juliette....." She was on the telly after the hockey game in the 50's. Her husband was the band leader, but I forget his name just now.

Tommy Hunter was a great Baptist Lad from the London, Ontario area. He had more big names on his show and wanting to be on his show. Johnny Cash and his wife announced their wedding on the Tommy Hunter Show and went to London and got married..

Memories.........that was a song too..lol

Cheers,

Jim
I didn't know that about Johnny Cash and June Carter. You are a pretty knowledgeable guy. I used to live quite near London Ontario for awhile when I was small, a little place called Aylmer. Jan

Okay Annie

I guess you have a hankering for a road-map

Oky dky .... You will have in your PC some means of playing Audio CD's......... QUICKTIME /MEDIA-PLAYER ?
Media Player 10 / 11 are able to copy the audio tracks and save them in various music formats for use
around your home.... If you would like step by step

Please PM me with
Click the HELP / About tab in Media Player
in order to learn the version number

If, you are using a LEGIT operating system
then, Microsoft/Windows Update
would be happy to update your current player

Believe...! so easy IT IS!

pop audio-cd into cd-rom/writer or dvd-rom/writer
and in EDIT, select required-track and hit 'copy'
select File, select 'save-as'
enter track name.. in the title-field and below that
select required format to save track in

example
WANTED an .wma (windows media audio) version
of a Hymn called.... "Soldiers of Christ Arise" found on your cd as a file called : Soldiers of Christ Arise.cda

When you click save-as...
you then, type-in the file's name
and below that title field (in the save-as menu)
choose from file formats available

.wma or ,mp3 ????
the newly saved version is that which you require

It may seem 'impossible'
SIMPLY
because of a lack of experience

azuno...
the copying and distribution of copyrighted material
is sure frowned upon
But is fine to make a working copy
to protect/extend life of the original/
distribute your own stuff in any format

You would only need to be shown once or twice
I am sure....

awww

:( A bit sad here today. Our cat, the one who moved next door when we got Leo, well she died this afternoon. Our neighbour found her when she came home from work. Tammy had been waiting for her to come home and was found by the front door. We wrapped her up and we all had cuddles with her and then Rob and I took her to the vet to be looked after while her new owners decide on arrangements. She would have been 15 in May.:(

Dave I appreciate all of your instructions but I am like Annie and I really depend on my son to do all that kind of stuff for me. I do from time to time manage to figure out stuff myself and am learning slowly.

Leytonstones so sorry about your cat pets are so precious. I just took my dog to the vet to get stitches out of an incision(she had a wart removed) and I was surprised to see she has lost more weight, 1 kg in about 2 weeks. After a brief check up the Vet found a lump on her left hind leg and tried to aspirate it for examination. Shiloh was not very happy about that but I think we may have got something. I am hoping it is nothing serious as she is 14 and a half and already has arhritis and blindness but otherwise a good doggy.
Sunny again today but cold. Jan

Thank you to all who responded regarding the loss of Tammy. We think she had a heart attack. Although she had adopted the people next door (Leo is far too lively for her) we still looked after her when they were away.

I am sorry to read that others pets are having health problems. It is so hard when our pets are sick.

A little bit of good news, my brothers dog suffered a stroke last week and she is now amazing the vets with her recovery.

Blessings to you all

Leytonstones.

Strange pic I know!! It is snowing here and sticking!
Easter Sunday will be colder here than Christmas Day and New Year's Day was this year(was in 40's no snow)
Easter will be below 32 and snow. So no Easter bonnets, but warm fuzzy hats with earmuffs!! Goodie!!
Happy EAster!!
