That poster was attacking harshly a couple of people who simply stating what they believed. At the instigation of another member I got involved to the extent of defended those attacked and received what I had come to expect from the attacker. He had been suspended before. He has been suspended again for the moment. It was not my intention to have him removed, but sometimes it is the best thing.

I mentioned that my wife was upset and ready to go in and do what I would not, hit back at the man hard. God prevented her from doing so. He had another idea...

Yes, people do take the Lord's name in vain without ever using a curse word, although such words were not absent from this particular post against me.

His purpose was certainly not to encourage me, but I have nonetheless been encouraged by my wife's anxiousness in the matter and by the supportive replies I have received here.

I am happy to hear that person was reported; there is no need for posts like that!
It IS a good thing to have reports/rules/moderation, so that forums can run smoothly and respectfully.
Depending on the forum importance and situation, it is up to you if you respond to this person or just ignore them.
Just because we are incognito behind pc's doesn't give anyone the right to be rude...or us be their door mat!

It is surprising how powerful our internet connections are...we don't see each other face to face...yet we do have an impact on each other lives...for evil...or for good. Hmmm, we should all be encouraged to keep doing good, sowing the seed of His word...yeah! I am encouraging myself....!!!!!

Lord help us to find You and Your grace in time of need...hurts are hurts no matter how they come...help us to overcome the world, as you did. Learning not to return evil for evil, but entrusting ourselves to our Father, who will be the ultimate judge of all things. Amen

Let those, who must in His time, account for their behaviour, repent at their own leisure
The church, in it's wisdom, will, practice, what it preaches or, sin against the word

Can chaff become wheat ? I would say yes, ~for God, even this, would not be impossible

Let us for them, that they might see the light that drives away the darkness

Let us indeed all be encouraged Sister! God has provided us this means to make contacts with a greater number of people in a very short time than we could have encountered in a couple of lifetimes even 100 years ago.

Yes, but it is also, as we know, possible to push the buttons of another person with the express purpose of annoying or angering them. As we walk with the Lord we come to know better how to communicate without aggravating them. This is how Jesus walked and are we not to become like Him?

We can choose to ignore and avoid those who are trying to annoy or anger us. In effect, that leaves them talking to themselves and looking pretty silly.

We had a busy day here...went together early up into our local mountains. Hubby had some measurements to take at a job site...we drove around and home what ended up being the long way...LOL...we both got tired...o dear, this senior thing is upon us for sure.

Gracie went and she was just a spoiled little Pom...my fault of course.

Tomorrow is church...I am looking forward to it.

Some of us are having the tornado watches and destruction happening again...my goodness.
