O, thanks so much...found I need to rest way more than I thought...slept all night, got up...read, ate a bit...went down for a nap.

The smallest activity can make my lungs hurt right now.

Now, I am wide awake...just felt an earthquake here...it made the house snap...Gracie is barking. We have had much worse shakes tho...hope this will be all.

The earthquake was a 4.7...within an hours drive from me...so far no damage reported, but that is enough of a shake to mess with your brain. LOL.

I removed Java quite a while back now...don't seem to need it at all.

We had a great Sunday and enjoyed the services. Lucy is getting better by the day and is even back to picking on Hank. She gets the stitches out in a few more days, and we'll be happy to get her out of that collar.

I feel much better today folks...saw an urgent care dr last night...after having a pretty bad day yesterday. My lungs are clear, but there may be inflamation occuring that does not show up on x-rays. That probably explains why i feel so weird at times. But, I am much relieved to know the infection is gone...rest is still a top priority.

Hope you are all doing well...(((((hugs)))).

Penny will see the groomer today; I miss her when she is gone, but she is so pretty.... and smells so sweet when she gets home!

We are in for a big snow melt from heavy/torrential rains through tonight, along with warm temps; flooding is a concern with the snow pack, fast run off, and overflowing streams and rivers.
Our rural roads are a big mess...lots of big pot holes; I just had to have a tie rod replaced on my car yesterday to pass inspection.

Penny will see the groomer today; I miss her when she is gone, but she is so pretty.... and smells so sweet when she gets home!

your house is on high ground tho...I did Gracie myself this morning...took about 30 minutes for 2 lathers...she is combed and her teeth are brushed for the day. Her coat feels sooo good for nearly a month, with intermitant grooming.

We have a lot of big pot holes in the roads around here too...just from use and low maintenance...we totally avoid some very bad places.

I will be sitting to rest for a while now....

Yes, thankfully I am on high ground so our home is not at risk for water damage.

But in our area, we are prone to having roads wash out, because we are surrounded by rivers that feed our lake, the area lakes and the reservoir.
Low lying area homes in town are subject to possible flooding.

Our back yard is a mushy, muddy pit in spots every spring because we are set on/into a hill, and all the snow pack drains through our property.
As the ground thaws we tip toe through the yard FAST to avoid sinking in over our boots

Penny is not happy about 'moisture' of any kind....except SNOW...which she loves
She was a good girl at the groomers and came back looking and smelling sweet
