That is my Ms Penny :D more pics are in an album on my profile page.

Your painting will be beautiful in your home :)

I know I love my hubby's paintings.... and rotate them in my frames throughout the house  (along with my nature pics ;) )

Cute! Can you send some of your husband's work to us?

That's a painting? Lovely! You are talented. I wasn't sure if it was computer generated. My firstborn is gifted in art. I hope he picks it up again as a hobby at least. Seems like it would be relaxing to paint or scatch.

Thanks Marsha. I started painting during menopause. Thanks to the dollar store I took a chance with a $2. canvas that came with brushes and paint. It took me by surprise when people started commenting on my painting. I haven't taken any courses but I learn alot from a forum called "WET CANVAS". Other artists comment and give me tips. You are right about it being relaxing. If you have a dollar store nearby, give it a try. Even if you start with abstract...just let yourself go. You'd be surprised what may turn out.

I would be proud to hang this in my home! Very pretty.
Thanks Claire!

Our little Lucy (Bichon) had surgery today to remove a bladder stone. She did well and might get to come home tomorrow. In the meantime, we miss her, and our little Hank (Shih Tzu) is broken-hearted in her absence. They've been together for almost their entire lives. It's amazing how attached we get to our little babies. We would appreciate a little prayer for Lucy.

Sure, here's two ~ Water Color on paper :)

Nesting Geese

Old farm

He used to do oil years ago, then went to water color; this year he is trying acrylics

Wow! He is really talented. I tried oils and water colours to no avail. Hope he enjoys the acrylics. Please keep us posted! Thanks for sharing.

Gail, your husband is a really good artist. I guess you don't have to buy paintings! It's really snowing here now, although north of us will get more.

I like them - beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks :)
I am proud of his work and enjoy having it around our home!
I will pass your feedback along to him ;)

We brought Lucy home this afternoon, and the doctor said she was doing great. Thank you for your prayers. She has to wear one of those cones around her head until the stitches are removed and the wound heals. Hank doesn't like that cone. Hank is being very gentile with her, so I think that he senses she doesn't feel good. She's still pretty heavily medicated, but we're happy to have her home.

I just have to say the snowfall we have now is a beautiful sight to behold. It's still clinging to tree limbs. It makes me think of Gail...how pretty the woods surrounding her home must be. March snows are more enjoyable for me because I know spring isn't far away.

Gail, I hear you're in for much more than we got. Praying it's not as bad as it could be.

How much did you get?

We still have 6-12 on the ground and are right on the edge of the 'jackpot' area for this storm.
They are calling for @ 8 in of heavy/wet snow...and if the line moves it could be more @ 12in.

But with a MAJOR WARM UP Sunday to Tuesday (mid to upper 50's ).....what we have shouldn't last long

It IS very pretty here :)

Good to hear Tom. I thing that they are called Elizabethian collars (not quite sure why though). Hank is a real gentleman, lol
