I am beside myself right now.
I have lost my best friend, my baby, my Juliette that died in my arms tonight.

Thank you for your continued prayers but I am drunk, with rum and brandy. So sorry to confess that
I wish these ridiculous remedies would be removed from my life.
Please pray for deliverance in the new year.

He blessed you with Juliette and, in His time 'took her away'
He gave you your part to play and, hard as it was you did what was 'loving'
It will be plain to you, despite your heartbreak
that she could not go on, while, she was so ill
She had a good life, and, you loved each other very-much

You did 'all you could' to make her comfortable
AND, you made certain that she would not suffer a painful 'ending'
for that, would have torn you apart

Yes, you have the prayers of everyone here
We know what you are going through... have 'been there and done that'
We do not have 'a magic wand'
but, we do have the comforting arms of our saviour to lean upon

There are times when letting-go, is the most painful trial to undergo
But for all the very best of reasons, you stood up 'for-her' and, you gave her 'rest'

our furry companions welcoming her. They bring us such joy
when they are here. I do think we will see them again.

I am so happy that 2012 is behind me now...It was a year of sheer hell. Starting off with Alan's heart attach, pressure from the provincial govt., sale and demolition of our home of 33 years...Juliette's recently diagonsed diabetes...I just broke down and short circuted. It was a year that began with grief and ended with grief. I celebrate it's end! Happy New Year dear Eagles!

2013, wow!

Going to a party tonight, haven't been to a New Year's party since 1979...LOL! I made a poppy seed cake, quite a recipe actually. A friend gave me a jar of Baker poppy seeds with the recipe on the jar.
