I've been out of state for my son's wedding and several events associated with the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding.

My computer died completely during the same time frame, and I'm just now getting everything working and organized again on a new computer. My backups were over 3 months old, so this has been a real pain - especially for the things that weren't backed up at all. The one good thing - the new computer is great.

I'm happy to be back home and back on the Internet. I missed everyone and all of you have been in my prayers.

Bad joke time: a blonde guy's dog is missing, and he's so distraught that he puts an ad in the newspaper. After two weeks, his wife asked him about what the ad said:

(small print: "here boy")

It is good to have you back...I do like to mess with a new pc...if I have my files....I keep everything on an XHD now; my son got me started with them.

Weddings are very happy times usually...we haven't had one in our family for a while.

Big surprise...I enjoyed almost 3 hours of rain today....
Praise God
LOL cute joke
Glad to see you Tom; you were missed
Happy to hear all went well; prayers for updating your PC files (pain is right )

I was out the door early this morning for a dental exam, which went pretty well.
I have a small old silver filling that must be replaced next month... a second (and my last lead filling) can wait 6 months or so.
I will be gal;d to have all that silver out of my mouth; they say it can contribute to health problems :o
The cracked crown I have been nursing just needed to be filed

I popped into the hairdresser for a quick trim; I am in the process of letting my hair grow again over the winter.
*See the thumbnail for the look I am aspiring to; her color is like mine, though I am whiter in the front and on the crown.
Right now it is chin length so I have until next year this time to reach that look (or if I will let it be get that long yet)

From there I picked up cards for hubby's birthday, and our anniversary next month.
He is always with me doing errands now so it is hard to sneak that one by him

After a snack, we will walk pretty Penny and have dinner.

Tomorrow we will be out the door at 9 am for a 10 am funeral, and then lunch after.

Have a blessed evening everyone

I HOPE I can pull that style off; I will see as it grows!
The last time I had long hair was 10 years ago

The 'things' women do do 'look good'

Hey up... it is, what is INSIDE that matters 'most'
Stay

We are, what we are ...NOT as we 'look-like'

I like LONG HAIR mine; is over my collar

LOL

I am not doing much...my TRIM (only every 3 months) took just a few minutes
My hair is growing on it's own...I'll see what it does, and go with the flow

I am a very LOW MAINTENANCE gal...believe me!
NO frills, jewelry, hair color, having nails done etc for me....I am 100% au naturalle and enjoy simplepleasures
So this is actually a move in that direction; long hair means LESS maintenance, vs a short cut which needs trims every 6 weeks to keep it looking good :o

You looked good with long hair
Though Mary must be after you again

My hair is too thin now to look nice longer...but I keep it short because of the mite treatments...would do more if it were not for that...have some better sort of style.

I used to have the latest, most popular style all the time....would change it often to go with the trends...those days are over, I am glad I can still walk now. LOL

LOL

Mary does mention "you really need your hair cutting BADLY"
So, I see the haircutting charges as @9% of my 'weekly income' [expensive]

I am very tempted to 'self-inflict'
~I have an electric hair trimmer that I trim my beard with
but, with WINTER around the corner [?] who needs to feel 'undressed' [?]

[My View] is, that Mary should be 'glad' I am not balding

I really do not mind, that I look somewhat-like, SANTA... way before Christmas

I have small to very-large 'combs' with my trimmer

BUT!!!! to let Mary loose with control of it "sheesh"
I could come over all 'sweaty' ... j/k

Nah.... When I feel 'it is too long' [for me] /or, I have the £8 'cost'
then, I will, get it 'tidied-up'
