That reminds me of my puppy ...who waits until she hears us pray the Our Father as we end our time of prayer each evening, then jumps in my lap and showers me with kisses ^_^ (cute pic)

Penny has been great for us too
We had my MIL's shih tzu Benji for the last year of his life 2009-10.
Having been dog free for 8 years, we thought that would be IT.
Then we missed him when he was gone, and realized we wanted to invest in another dog :sorry:

Well...that is us -done and dusted- with our preps....

We have just wrapped it all in and I am settled here
with my Curry Flavour POT-NOODLE

We ate [have eaten] already, ~several-times today > with no-need to "cheat" :)

Come-on David and friend... we are READY FOR YOU :hot:

Thank you Gail

I was saying to Mary earlier, that David, just might not turn-up
[after all that hard clearing up]
I won't repeat what she said she would do to him, next time she sees him

LOL....
Thanks for your care and prayers...
What we have accomplished, these past two days, has truly amazed me

:D

 that would be terrible if he didn't show!
Praying he does... for your sake....and HIS ^_^

Yeah it is crazy what we can do when pushed; I saw that when my mother died suddenly, and we had to empty and clean out her HUGE house!
I had been very ill to that point, but slow and steady with God's grace and my sister's help...it got done

Oh I'm sure he will...
He has only recently, laid new in his living room and dining area
[for the fourth time, in 18 months - two years]

David and his wife Margaret [Magsy] passed-on, what they took up, [this time] to us

From our point of view, there was nothing 'wrong' with it
but, they were not happy with it
and quickly changed it, for another shade/style

It will look really good, on the floor here :D

I can assure you that I sought somewhere to sit and rest, very-often, today
It was for-me, heavy going certainly
but we came over the hill, just before 11pm [last night]
and were then, able to wind-down

We attended a Silver Social Luncheon [midday until 3pm]
and got home around 4pm.... So we put in, some seven hours yesterday, despite our outing

You can expect me to be offline, until early evening [earliest]
and maybe, later-still, as I will have-to, route power, phone and network cabling afresh

Yes, at first they had a pine-effect
~but that, showed footprints and black rubber scuffs too-easily
Then, they had a black finish, but the fitters, had a few accidents, while laying it
~noticeable 'marks' seen-only, by those that had paid good money for it
So they went for our oak-effect....as a free replacement
~but that too, was not really, to their liking
and after, not much more than a month, they shopped around
purchased another 'flavour' :) and replaced it [to our benefit]

We know, that Rolo will have a problem negotiating it, having found him [several times]
splayed out flat on his tummy, and unable to bring his legs under himself
so, we will spread rugs and offcuts of carpeting, to keep him on his feet

He has long been unsteady on his back legs, and we suspect
that he won't be with us, for very much longer
Teddy and Rusty, send him flying, when they rush around him, to get outside
@ 18 years now, he is slow getting up from bed and gets shaky when standing for any length of time

Yes, Mary will ensure that I take care :)

Thank you again

Just 'peeping in' quickly, BEFORE, pulling all the plugs and removing the cables
in preparation for the works that we expect will be done today
I expect to be able to get-in here later and, if-not, then tomorrow

Have a good day everyone

:)

We go 20+ years here :p
I'd be happy with that too ^_^
Take care .....and good luck

I am with you....We painted 20 years ago....:D. I just so appreciate this new paint....more than I would have if we had done it even 5 years ago.

But, this will work for us for many years to come.

This is what we saw our doberman doing shortly before we had to put him down...his legs just went from under him, he could not get up by himself and it looked painful to me. The dr said he had calcium deposits on his spine. We still miss that dog.

Hi
I am all messed up today after just a few hours of sleep.
It is noon and I am just up from a nap, and having breakfast
Hubby wants to go out for an early dinner, when we get a break in the weather.
Tomorrow it will be more stormy, so we will come home right after Church.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
