Good ~ I miss you lots

Your Fall season must be gorgeous...we never have big extreems in the weather here...just some extra heat during summer, but not usually everyday...and sometimes freezes in the winter, but not long...it can be boring at times; but I am learning to appreciate it more and more.

It is a beautiful season here...for color and temps

My painters have arrived and they will be here most of the day...

We are in for hot days this week.

Praying all goes well ~ you will love it when it is all done

I still have no clue what I am doing today
Hubby is cooking breakfast ans I sit here in my pj's He may be finishing the painting of the exterior house this week.
I had planned to clean the cellar some, but should go shopping because the cupboards are bare.
We shopped early last week because of the holiday and now our schedule/stock is messed up
Penny has her beauty appt tomorrow.
It looks this week is off to a crazy start
I will BBL ~ have a great day

I "had" to get up early....which I usually do anyway, but it is different to be having someone in the house so early....I know I will love this painting job when it is finished and I can't say enough how thankful I am to be able to pay someone else to do the work...

This is soooo weird...we have fires and drought in the west of the USA.

We are allright locally, but other western states have allready had serious fires and loss of life.

Our worst fire season is just beginning.

I had a nice breakfast, showered, washed my bathroom floor, put a wash in, and am more awake now
Hubby may skip painting and just do the lawn.
Shopping can wait until Wednesday (our usual day).
We will walk this evening when it cools down; our road is very sunny and hot at this time.
I gave my canary his bath and will clean his cage later when he finishes 'preening'
Today will just be a 'putter' day; whatever comes into my mind to do will get done

Praying for the fires, drought, and flooding
We are getting dry here again and need rain to avoid fires also, but there is none forecast for the week.

She was just here this morning

Top of the morning Eagles! Alan and I are moving in 9 days! Our house of 33 years is sold and there is much to pack, sell, and throw away. Down-sizing big time! There are mixed emotions around this so I would ask for prayer for strength. I'll drop by whenever I get the chance...for now..my prayers go out to all my CF family. God bless!

We are having a change of plans ~ one of the perks of retirement
It is too hot for hubby to do the grass and we need food, so we are heading out to go shopping

How's it going?

sorry i have not been around too much lately. I have been maintaining. the house is probably going to be mine but it will need fixing up.. I am researching and reading and it looks like most of it I am capable of doing myself. I think there are a whole lot of people hopeing my loan does not go through. The longer this takes the more I realize what a gift from God this seems to be. My future roommate is in the hospital (heat related I think)... this (today) is the first break from the heat we have had. I could not get my trailer to cool down past 80 degrees (and that was the 5 am temp...) in the afternoon and evening my trailer was 90 degrees.... that was too much for me... so I haven't been here except to sleep. Got to go. but will talk more later....
