We just got back from our walk too...it was a hot one, though less humid.
Glad you had a productive day!
Tomorrow hubby will be painting more of the house (exterior) and I will clean a bit of the cellar (rearranging shelve storage).

Good to pace yourself
Hubby always joked that the air was changing and you could feel 'fall' coming , the week of the 4th; that always irked the relatives with vacations in August

Hubby always joked that the air was changing and you could feel 'fall' coming , the week of the 4th; that always irked the relatives with vacations in August

Hmmmm...I can't feel Fall coming yet...usually get a small sense of it in August...the light begins to change and there is a different smell coming from the desert that I like.

I have just enough going this summer to help the weeks go by faster.

When we went camping in August, the evening shadows were longer...you could tell summer was passing away...wow, I have a lot of memories.

They sound like nice memories ~ and your sense of Fall differs from mine a bit.
The air becomes crisp and cool at night with warm days, and the leaves turn awesome colors.
The bugs disappear and if it is joy to be able to hike in the woods carefree again
I am not is a rush for Fall yet....last year we were spared a harsh winter, but it could come back to bite us this year

Top of the morning Eagles! Alan and I are moving in 9 days! Our house of 33 years is sold and there is much to pack, sell, and throw away. Down-sizing big time! There are mixed emotions around this so I would ask for prayer for strength. I'll drop by whenever I get the chance...for now..my prayers go out to all my CF family. God bless!

Your Fall season must be gorgeous...we never have big extreems in the weather here...just some extra heat during summer, but not usually everyday...and sometimes freezes in the winter, but not long...it can be boring at times; but I am learning to appreciate it more and more.
