Yes it must seem like such a diffrence to have all the painting done. Did you choose bright colors or stay with a more simple beige type?
We had morning of fixing a water leak at the hot water heater. Got it done before the day got so hot.

Our heat finally left...along with the humidity....cooler temps right through the weekend It feels great!

I'm glad for you.....that humidity was high....
We went out to dinner tonight....now tomorrow I will have my home to myself...

It is morning and I will not be having the painters inside today....O my, love the paint job....love the quiet even more...I will begin to clean and reorganize our stuff off and on for the next few days.

It is wonderful to feel renewed

We just got back from a walk; the first in a week;Penny was so excited
We walked her around the yard several times a day and went to the road for the mail, but she loves walking on the road
It is cloudy and cool-ish (68); perfect weather for walking

Today is a 'putter' day ~ to catch up on chores set aside in the heat (dusting, beds etc)

I hope to get Gracie over to her favorite park next week...if it is hot they will be running the sprinklers...we both get cooled off.

I have been putting my office back together...steaming the floor and wiping all the surfaces...the pc and its desk are back where they belong...hooray!!!!!! Little things that really do make a big joy in my heart.

Hubby is giving Penny another romp through the yard; I am beat (did too much today)
We have a 5 hour round trip to the Cape Sunday for a nephew's Confirmation party, so that's it for me!
Just R&R for the rest of the weekend now; I need to be rested up for the long day.

I had just mentioned I was glad she was 'pacing herself' (we have talked about it before) only to have me confess: I am beat (did too much today) as I quoted above.

So I said do as I say (pace yourself)....and don't do as I did (did too much = I did NOT pace myself).

It is a common saying here and one of SELF chastisement (practice what you preach)
