Thanks for the prayers, Tom and Connie
He slept a bit better last night, and we hope to see more improvement in the next day or so.

The boss told him there is still no work through the end of the month (this is week 3); we are in God's Hands.

Praying for your job situation Connie; that is tough one for sure!
I did that stuff as a kid just starting out before nursing....I couldn't do it now!

I hope you stay well Tom, and that your allergies are not too bad!

it always amazes me how the Lord gives you the right things to say to each one of us....reminds that He does know each sheep by name...we are not just numbers.

Lord, even when we cannot pray or speak of every need, or joy...nothing passes by You, You know it all...let us all glory in belonging to You...adopted as children thru Christ Jesus.

You are surely younger sweetie...I still felt my youth even at 50, and a little past that....later other things helped to slow me down...now I feel my age creeping up....

Your job is hard...my son worked retail as a young man, his eyes were always black from the stress and physical work involved...you work hard and deal with the public...you are a champion.

its humbling and a little hard on my self esteem to admit that I may have bitten off more than I can chew... I just need God to rescue me now (from my dumb decision). by dumb decision I mean that I probably should have known I was biting off more than I could chew when I took the job... Hopefully I have gained wisdom and insight and some much needed people skills from the experience... If God is willing I'm willing to find another one (with insurance and enough money please).

Lots of people had my job as a KID... why did I take it at 45? beats me? Why was I not already past that and on to the next life lesson or challenge or job? beats me again. lol

well the house buying adventure has had a hiccup. I could not get the earnest money there fast enough... so my bid died... It comes back on the market at some point I guess and I will bid again. ????... Had the contractors in there looking around and shooting me facts and options... It's definitely a fixer upper... my friend (who may live with me) came to see it too.. She liked it but I hate that I didn't wait to tell her about it. I tried to wait until I knew for sure so she wouldn't get her hopes up. I thought I knew for sure. If she wants to live with me I was going to charge her a small rent and then we would all have run of the house with our respective bedrooms... just like a regular family. I don't really know what she wants to do.. She is looking for her own place as well but it is giving her a problem... She does not have good credit and she cannot work... anything she lives in will be paid for by whatever disability she gets and her husband (who desperately wants to move back into his house)

.. I learned while talking over ideas with the contractors that my trailer would not pass an inspection ...lol... so I live in sub standard conditions... I'm doing just fine. I have what I need. kisses and hugs to you all. remember me in your prayers... I need a better me it seems ... maybe even a godlier me.

I know... I'm just a bit pouty today. ... I am completely sure that God is in control of the house buying adventure (whether or not it happens)...
I am feeling somewhat insecure at my job.. I thought a month ago that God had that solved but I think I may have been mislead or I may have gotten my hopes up too quickly. It will turn out... Every day I go to work and setting on the counter are cd's of Whitney Houston and Donna Summers. I say to myself, those are very successful women but what good is all that success doing them now?

Maybe this delay is the answer...giving you time to think about the room mate issue...it is possible a better deal will turn up...I have seen it happen over and over on house hunters.

I was just thinking about this portion of Scripture and wanted to share it with everyone:

Romans 8:24-28 For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth? 25 But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered; 27 and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

Brothers and Sisters,

I was just thinking about this portion of Scripture and wanted to share it with everyone:

I can be comforted with these words Tom...it means to me I do not have to figure everything out...God knows it all...and His Spirit is willing to pray for me....what a thought; God takes what looks like a mess to my eyes and works it for good. Everything is done according to His will...and sometimes He must move in me to make me want and agree with His will if mine is out of kilter and it often is out of kilter.
