PROVERBS 22:4
箴言 22：4
4 The reward of humility and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord is riches, honour, and life.
敬畏耶和华心存谦卑，就得富有、尊荣、生命，为赏赐。
Humility: THE RIGHT VIEW OF YOURSELF
谦卑：对自己的正确看法
The Book of Proverbs offers a wealth of wisdom and insight for living a godly and fulfilling life. It also praises humility as one of life's greatest virtues. In this passage, King Solomon teaches us that humility has its rewards: Riches, honour and life. Pride also has its reward: Failure and death. There is fake humility (pretending to be humble) and true humility (genuine humbleness and meekness before men and God.
箴言提供了丰富的智慧和洞察力，帮助我们过敬虔而充实的生活。它还赞扬谦逊是人生最大的美德之一。在这段经文中，所罗门王教导我们谦卑会有回报:财富、荣誉和生命。骄傲也有它的回报:失败和死亡。有假谦卑(假装谦卑)和真谦卑(在人类和上帝面前真正的谦卑和温柔。

Here are some ways we can look at True Humility:
这里我们从几个方面来认识真正的谦卑：
1) Is dependence on God. It is recognizing our need for His presence in every area of our lives

2) Seeks to glorify God; it does not seek attention or self-promotion
2) 想办法去荣耀上帝，而不是寻求引人注目或者自我吹嘘。
3) Does not seek a reward; it takes pleasure in serving God and others
3）不求回报，而是以服侍神和人为乐。
4) Is having an opinion of one’s self-based on the Word of God; not worldly achievements
4）以神的话语为基础来看待自己，而不是以属世上所取得的成就来看待自己。
What helps us to have a correct view of ourselves?
是什么东西能帮助我们对自己有正确的看法呢？
It begins with having a reverential fear of God. When we look at ourselves in the light of God's glory, we will have a correct view of ourselves. John the Baptist gives an excellent example of true humility. During his ministry, some people thought that he was the promised Messiah. However, he set the record straight, recognizing that he was the one to bear witness of the Light. Regarding his relation to the Christ, he says, “He (Jesus) must increase and I must decrease.” The greatest form of humility is surrendering our lives to God completely and unconditionally. May we find joy in walking humbly before our God。
它从虔诚地敬畏上帝开始。当我们在上帝荣耀的光芒中审视自己时，我们会对自己有一个正确的看法。施洗约翰给了一个真正谦卑的极好例子。在他传道期间，有些人认为他是应许的弥赛亚。然而，他承认自己是为光作见证的人，就把这事澄清了。关于他与基督的关系，他说:“他(耶稣)必增多，我必减少。”谦卑的最大形式是完全无条件地把我们的生命交给神。愿我们在神面前谦卑行事，寻得喜乐。

PROVERBS 21：2
2 Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs and examines the hearts.

RIGHT MOTIVES: - 正确的动机
All of us love to do things for God, and we don’t mind receiving praise for it…Amen! My former Pastor Mark said that we live for an audience of One...we do things for God and God alone. God not only watches what we do, He also observes why we do it. Which raises the following question: Are our motives pure in serving God?
我们都爱为神做工，而且我们也不介意得到表扬- 阿们。 我的前任牧师马克说我们只为一位观众而活 - 我们只为而且单单为神而活。神不仅仅看我们做什么，而且他还观察我们为什么做。 那么就产生了下面的问题： 是不是我们所有的动机都是单纯地服侍神?
The Lord is more concerned about our motives than the actions we engage in. We may be able to fool man, but we can never fool God. He knows our hearts, our motives, and our thoughts. So, when you decide to do anything for the Lord, make sure that it is out of love for Him and concern for your fellow man.
主更关心的是我们的服侍动机而不是我们的所做所为。我们有可能瞒过人，但是我们永远无法瞒过神。神知道我们的心、我们的动机还有我们的想法。所以，当你决定为主做任何事的时候，请一定要怀着爱神并在乎您的同工的心去做。
