  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Some tasty chile recipes I made, they go great in salsa, or on their own, but contrary to the ingredients inside they keep a fairly medium heat level:
#1
1 tbs. chipotle pepers in adobo sauce(I used canned, but if you know how to make adobo sauce than you could probably use fresh)
1/2 tsp. mongolian fire oil
1 red chile pepper
1/4 tsp african bird pepper (you can probably find this at Wild Oats or somewhere like it)
3 jalopeno peppers
1 tsp. extra hot chile powder
juice of half of one lime
curry to taste

Blend ingredients well, preforably in small blender, serve (for extra heat let sit overnight)

#2
1 jalapeno
1 large tsb. roasted garlic and pepper mix
1/2 tsp. fire oil
lime to taste

Blend ingredients well, preforably in small blender, serve (for extra heat let sit overnight)
