Had to wait a hour in line today to get me some chicken nuggets at Chick fil a. It felt like election day in line years ago waiting to vote for Ronald Reagan. It was worth it!

Part of the problem with Calif. The initiative passed has to be Constitutional. Prop 8 wasn't. Same for a city's mayor's initiative. In Boston and Chicago over Chic-Fil-A, perhaps. But in California over Prop 8....
There is no violation of rights in this case other than the attempts by mayors to ban Chick fil-A from their cities, and now a New York city councilman calling for them to be banned from campusExactly! And it cuts both ways.

Anyone else remember WAAAY back in the ancient days of 2004, when all the leftist pundits were claiming gay marriage was a red herring throw up by the right in order to distract the population from the real issues? That they were freaking out over "slippery slopes" and that the left had no intention of defiling marriage?

I would say it will depend on where this protest is held. Inside the story they can be removed and possibly arrested. Outside the store, they can still be asked to leave and possibly arrested if on private property. On the public sidewalk, they can pretty much do as they please within the confines of the law.Here's a question. LGBTQRSXYZ groups are going to do a "kiss in" to protest, right? Can't Chick-fil-a just demand they order something or leave? And if they do, aren't they just helping their business?

How has Adam and Steve's marriage in Massachusetts defiled your marriage? Or how does recognizing the basic right of John and Joe to marriage and its rights and obligations defile the same right to Jim and Mary? Please be specific. Generic fear mongering does not advance anyone's understanding of the issue.
