  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What do you guys think about eating 2 slices of cheese a day. I realize it isn't good to consume large quantities of the stuff, but do you think it's best to cut it out of my diet completely?

Is it unhealthy to eat 2 slices a day?
I personaly like chesse, if ur not dieting for a show or to get ripped, in moderation its not going to kill you. Some peoples bodies respond different to things than others. If ur dieting, take it out of ur diet for a couple of weeks and see if u notice a manger difference

Stay away from the processed cheese slices, unless its the fat free variety.

I eat the fat free slices and the reduced fat cheddar.

Wouldn't that just taste like plastic?

natural animal fats are good for you. your brain and cell walls are filled with saturated fats. ever think about that? your body has the ability to sort the fats and put them in the correct places.

fats also take longer to digest and make you feel fuller, longer, and being satisfied, you aren't tempted to snack again later.

the problem comes when the fats get in your bloodstream, and that happens with man-made "low / no fat" foods. milk is full of fat, mother's milk is full of fat, and real cheese is full of fat.

fat free cheese is overly processed milk, and not good for you.

eat RAW, UNPASTURIZED, WHOLE, ORGANIC CHEESE. that's the best you can get, and the only one i'd recommend.

your brain and cell walls are filled with saturated fats. ever think about that?

http://www.fi.edu/brain/fats.htm

fatty acid - A class of compounds that contain a long chain composed of hydrogen and carbon atoms. In general, fatty acids refer to any compound derived from the breakdown of fats.

saturated fat - A type of fat found mainly in meats, butter, and dairy products which, due to its chemical structure, tends to pack very tightly and raise levels of unhealthy cholesterol.

And most importantly:

unsaturated fat - A type of fat found mainly in vegetable oils which, due to its chemical structure, tends to reduce levels of cholesterol and ->improve cell membrane function.-<

I hope this helps, God BLess, J
