Keith Green and others recently had the mark of JESUS in their hearts, minds, souls, and all through their lives after being saved.
Those who had the mark of satan (instead of JESUS) opposed them greatly, slaughtering many of them. (martyrs in the last 50 years)

Decades ago, I read the end of the book.
You have too, by now.
"The whole world is deceived" (several things here)
Not just 10 or 20 or 60 percent.

Only "Almost even the remnant (the elect)" are deceived
and
"Since it is just barely the Righteous are saved,
what becomes of the ungodly" (the whole world) ....

TODAY, is the last day hundreds of thousands of people will breath air.
TOMORROW, they will be gone.
The same every day.

They will never have another chance to repent, ever.
Those who die guilty, are raised in shame and judgment.

Those who are REDEEMED
are resurrected to glory and life with Y'SHUA.

TODAY many all over the world are suffering persecution and tribulation. It's
not as if it's okay today, and some time in a year or ten it's all of a sudden going to start.
The enemy is already massacring the saints all over the world.
Or, if we look in Revelation, YHWH has[or will] sent angels of death - war, famine, pestilence, heat, plagues, etc....

And pastors[with few exceptions] are 'happy' with all that's going on
- = [things they understand or as they think they understand it - not in reality nor truth nor in Y'SHUA Saved]
and worldwide world church(es) are signed up with the world and ready to go full steam ahead !

Hi antletems. Thanks for posting. I noticed your signiture and the caption under your name. They sound quite nice. "Praise God forever" and "Oh my Jesus I offer myself up to thee...".

Except, then there is the content of your post, which seems to clang rather loudly with the beautiful sentiment of praising God forever and offering ourselves up to Jesus etc. The opening line of the Revelation is "The revelation of Jesus Christ to his servants". In one way or another, Jesus is the ultimate subject of all the prophecy in the Revelation.

The angel from Revelation 19 confirms this by saying to John, "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy". So, here we are discussing an aspect of prophecy which God seems to find rather significant. Have you ever read the warning about not taking the Mark? Clearly God views this issue as important.

Jesus talked about watching and being prepared. He gave example after example of servants who give up, who become complacent, who stop watching, who begin to act foolish. And now, here you are; while one side of your mouth is encouraging us to praise God, the other side of your mouth is encouraging us to forget about his warnings, to forget about the information he's given us, to stop thinking about whatever lessons may be hidden there in the prophecy.

I don't think it will be this simple and this isn't what the prophecy describes. People will take the Mark because they will want to pay the bills and put daily bread on the table for their families etc. The question then becomes, how does buying and selling cause one to identify with Satan's beast?

And the answer to that is rather obvious when we show a willingness to get brutally honest about our dependence on materialism. Greed and fear is what causes us to think that we cannot live without demanding payment for our love. Jesus gave heaps of teaching on the subject of our relationship to materialism. Luke 12:15-21 and Luke 16:19-31 are a couple examples, but there are dozens and dozens of them spread all throughout the gospels. Our relationship to mammon (money and the things money can buy) was a big deal to Jesus.

Interpretation..........1,000s of denominations each claiming theirs is the correct one! (The only correct one can be the one that is brought forth via the Holy Spirit).

2,000 years of being guided by the Holy Spirit makes the CC, for me, the only true church. (Notice i said CC not RCC!)

This is starting to make sense, since a lot of your posts indicate a trust in GOD'S WORD and not in the traditions of men.

As GOD enables all of us to learn HIS WAY, to UNlearn the ways of men, we see results.

Most of the whole world, and most of all religions, never learn, according to GOD'S WORD FIRST(the STANDARD and TRUTH) and the confirming lives revealed opposed to HIM (and committing violence against HIS people) all thru history thru today.

But People who refuse the mark will still be able to "buy and sell" off the grid.
Nothing about the absence of a mark in my hand or forehead would prevent me from bartering with my neighbor who has also refused the mark..

Plus, I'm getting the "Mark of God" microchip implant in my forehead when it comes out anyway (Rev 7;3, 9:4)

Probably, but the warning is still there. Just because there will be ways around the Mark, doesn't mean the Mark becomes invalid. People who refuse the Mark will effectively be cutting themselves off from the system.

If you own land, you still need to pay property tax or whatever various taxes may apply depending on where you live. One thing which is certain is that all governments have some form of land tax in one way or another. You won't be able to barter with the government on that issue.

We won't be able to do anything official though we may find ways to scurry about, slipping through the cracks and still survive, perhaps through begging, or bartering, or maybe even stealing in some cases!

So, while it is possible to survive without the Mark, very few people will have the discipline or commitment that it will take to become outcast. I suspect the majority of Christians will be suckered in to taking the Mark because of their family situations. Imagine a situation where one spouse wants to refuse the implant while the other thinks the refusal is an overreaction or a misunderstanding of prophecy. There will necessarily be a division.
Parents with children, or people with elderly kin who need support will also be in particularly difficult situations, but Jesus covered that, too.

He said that loyalty to God is even more important that our familial connection and that we should pray that our "flight" does not happen "in winter" (i.e. that the timing will not be bad). God recognizes that there will be A LOT of inconvenience and hard choices regarding the Mark, but that's what real loyalty and integrity is made of; facing hard choices with a commitment to persevere despite them.

Depends. Was Satan right when he suggested Jesus should turn the stone into bread? You make it sound as though "daily bread" is so normal, so ordinary, so mundane and expected that it is beyond question; that it somehow comes across as bizarre to question our relationship to something as necessary as food.

But that is exactly what Jesus was aiming at when he mentioned the problems of Noah and Lots day. He listed off normal, ordinary, every day activities which, in themselves, are not sinful, and yet Jesus seemed to have a problem with them.

This idea that the basic necessities of life are beyond question simply because they are basic necessities is exactly the worst place a Christian can be. Nothing should be beyond question or inspection for a sincere seeker of truth.

So, in answer to your question, I say again, "depends". Do you understand the context of the comments about daily bread? What were the motivations being discussed? Are you, like some, suggesting that it IS okay to take the Beast's symbol of loyalty so long as it's done for an apparently good reason (like putting daily bread on the table)?
