Jill, still praying for your Dad. I can understand your frustration that no one from the church has visited your Dad. Does anyone other than the Pastor know he's there? How's he doing now? Are you able to take any time off work?

Thanks for the prayers. No one has visited, although apparently the pastor did show up 3 hours late a couple of days ago but my Mom had left the hospital. She hasn't made much of an effort in my book. My Mom has received calls from some parishioners, but no visits. She said last night she's fine with that, but is still disappointed with the pastor.

My Dad is still on the ventilator. They don't want to do a trache on him, so they're just waiting for him to heal up and for the swelling in his throat to go down more. He does not have any fluid in his lungs, praise God! I think he's in and out of semi-consciousness. My Mom said he sometimes even starts to cry. It's so sad. Please pray that they will be able to take him off the ventilator soon and he can breathe independently.

There has been a change in the protocol and as a result ALL applications have been returned.

I understand that you can re-apply and will be reconsidered under the new rules.

Don't be put off by that. Re-apply, we really DO need good Christian Mods.

That is if you don't mind being in an UY ministry as well as a UY marriage!

I will be happy to sponsor you again if you want to go forward with this.

Thanks Pete, but I'm going to hold off for now. I'll prayerfully consider it, but for now I'm not ready. Too much going on at the moment. I agree with Pep that God must know I can't handle it at the moment.

Thank you all for your prayers. I'm so grateful for the support here. I still have to post about another family crisis. I just haven't had time to get to it.

Haha! The weather did look nice! Thanks for the info. I know I could have researched the name, but I was in a rush this morning as I had 200 km to drive, plus work, before I could leave today.

I spent some time on Sardinia in the Med. (15 trips, all expenses paid... all I had to give was my life!), plus a little time on the Adriatic on the other side of Italy. Good weather and good food! The buildings and streets in your pictures reminded me of some of the places I saw. Did you like the food where you were? The carriage you were riding in looked fun. It looks like everyone was having a good time.

The food was definitely one of the highlights (I gained 6 pounds - which I have now lost again!) and the carriage ride was really fun, I wish we had had more time there!

New Wine starts on Sunday folks so I wont be around for a week (unless I take my puter with me (which I am considering)).
