Oooo! I saw an ad on Facebook the other day about a free Obama pin! From moveon.org, I believe. I excitedly filled out all information & then it told me it'd take like 4-6 weeks to get a tiny button to me.

Yeah, me too.

But it's only like maybe a week or so left...I hope.

They should seriously tell you that like up-front. Otherwise you could order one and not get it until after the election. Then what use would it have?

That atheist thread in Christian Teens was awesome. Wasn't aware of the age limit though so I was sorta kicked out.

We do have rules for a reason, though (so no old crazy fundies can get in fights (and lose) against me ).

When teens reopens, I'm making another one. You know, after 350+ posts we never got locked. Even after the trolls. I was so proud.

Well, we can talk here without getting in trouble though. Young Adults needs a chat thread, anyway.

Yeah it's closed because of some coding error. They want to make it so over-21s can't post at all (which would be nice, see last example of old, crazy fundies). But it was supposed to be done yesterday morning, and it still isn't close to being done.

People are getting angry. >:-(

I'm fine with it, I guess. I usually don't get the chance to post here or in E&M as much as I want to, anyway.

it makes much more sense to stop people even posting/viewing a topic they arent allowed to post in.... its not like its hard to do. just a few lines of simple code.

Although I'm slightly bitter at not being able to post in the atheist thread in the Christian Teens forum or anything, I think it's a great idea to make it so that people my age can't even post. It's not like it takes that much more effort to make it so, ya know?

I'm slightly bitter because there were some awesome threads in there. The atheist one was awesome & there were discussions about creationism vs evolution too. It makes Young Adults look slightly boring. :/
