I cannot know when someone has "crossed that line." That is God's call. We know, from Hebrews 6:4-6 & 1 Timothy 4:1-2, that that animal exists.
Absence of conviction (which you can't seem to digest*) is the only reliable indicator.

*Are you having an internal argument with OCD?

Like many things in Christianity,.... it has nothing to do with just our thoughts,...

Heb 6:4 For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,
Heb 6:6 and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb 6:7 For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:
Heb 6:8 but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.

The passage is there. These things can happen according to The Holy Spirit, He is the one pointing it out.

From your perspective, is it enough to just blaspheme against the Holy Spirit once, or if one repents of that and rightly believes in the Holy Spirit's work, does that mean they haven't done the unpardonable sin?
My opinion is irrelevant. The scripture is explicit.

Like many I suffer from OCD, it is torment, from an unclean spirit. Many times it tricks me to blaspheme God. Or at least I see them. John Bunyon also had this illness.

I am sure you can commit a sin against the Holy Spirit and Jesus' blood, and be forgiven and washed by the blood afterwards.

Doubting God is a blasphemy. When the Babylonians came against Jerusalem, the blasphemed saying, "Your God is like all the others, it won't save you."

We all accidentally blaspheme. Look at cessationists, they can still become Spirit filled.

There have been a couple random references to OCD in this thread. Although I am thankful to not have OCD, I have sympathy for anyone who thinks they do.

That being said, as the OP, I wanted to get this thread back on topic.

It sounds like there is general agreement in this thread that from the charismatic perspective, there is a difference between the unpardonable sin Christ describes and what Hebrews 6 describes.

Beyond that, it's a bit fuzzy as to what commenters in this particular thread believe the unpardonable sin is.

If anyone would like to help provide clarity on what they believe scripture is saying the unpardonable sin is, I would be very grateful!

Personally I think the Gospel account of a Pharisee rejecting the finger of God, mistaking it for Beelzebul, accords Hebrews 6. But Revelation and the mark of the beast is quite different. I can't see why the latter cannot repent.
