Then allow me to. I see no reason to believe that many of the claims on his site are merely innocent misunderstandings- some of the photos therein were clearly edited, for instance. And the text is filled with plain lies. For example:FreezBee said:I am not aware of anyone accusing Ron Wyatt of being a forgerer,
The "deck timber" having been determined to contain organic Carbon, which means that it was once living, was found to have a unique characteristic in that It displayed no growth rings.

In order to understand why the pre-flood wood showed no growth rings one needs only to consult the Bible. It informs us that before the flood it did not rain; therefore there were not wet and dry seasons. Growth was at a constant rate.

Speaking of wheels going round and round. Many years ago, I accidentally ran into a program on TV called “Following in the Footsteps of Moses.” What I saw in this program simply blew me away. I do not know if this was Ron Wyatt's team, but a group of people had secretly entered Saudi Arabia looking for Moses Mountain. They made their way into this restricted fenced in area and found a Mountain that had 12 pillars around it and was blacken on top. The local people in the area called it Moses Mountain. They had video taped all this and it was very compelling. Does anybody know what the evidence is at the traditional Mt. Sinai site that proves it is the genuine site? I know that there is a Christian Church there that is about 1500 years old. But is there any real evidence? There was also a book by the same name but I have been unable to find either the book or video tape.Diamonds2004 said:The wheels on the chariot go round, and round, round and round. Just little fun.
CoochWhile I'd love Wyatt's claims to be true, a couple of things force me to withold judgement.
(1) The sheer lack of convincing physical evidence that can be postively linked to the biblical episode that Wyatt claims. It is not enough to ask "well who else was there" in an area that has been occupied by a succession of empires and cultures since the time of Abraham. Photographs mean nothing, unless you are prepared to accept that photos of Moses exist, and that he looks remarkably like Charlton Heston! I think you get my drift.
(2) In at least one of Wyatt's claimed discoveries, Wyatt refuses to undertake the normal scientific process for validating a find - making your evidence and data available for independant scrutiny. I'm referring to Noah's Ark, and the following testimony by Dr John Morris who accompanied Wyatt to the proposed site.http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v12/i4/noah.asp
Pardon me if I take the scriptural injunction to "test everything" as applying in this case.

I am really confused about your statment about not evidence, specifically in reference to exodus route. Puzzled. what do you need to believe? What evidence do you want. I believe that there has been plenty of evidence that matches the discription in the bible of the exodus account. I have watched a video "the exodus revealed: the search for the red sea crossing" it is very convincing to me of the "Arabian" theroy. I changed my view of the exodus because of it. they have all the element a person would need to verify the validity of such an event. Maybe you have not seen it. but I ask you again what evidence do you need?
And according to some, he actually bought the jewelry at a shop in a nearby town and planted it. I'd say the two men are on par with each other, because they both had their obsessions, and when you are obsessed with finding one specific result, you cannot do good research. Finding the truth takes a backseat to finding what you want to find. It's a problem that all achaeologists face. When Heinrich Schliemann excavated Troy, he found what he thought was the treasure of the famed Helen, not realising that what he had found came from an older layer than that associated with the Greek wars.
