I've recently been going through a dark patch in my life. It was getting so dark that I didn't know how I was going to get out. Everything was confusing. I didn't know where I was going, I barely knew who I was. I was getting impatient with God, demanding to know why nothing was working out.
Then last night I was given clarity and peace like nothing I've had before and all the pain I've been suffering through for the past couple weeks made sense. Change is painful but I've been begging God to change me for the longest time now. I just didn't expect him to do it in the way that he did.
So praise God for the change in my life! I am not perfect and never will be. I still stumble. But with every passing day he is bringing me closer and closer to him and though I still don't understand everything, I one day will.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
