Change of icon

Hi Folks,

A few people asked me to comment why I have changed my icon from Anglican to generic Christian, so I thought I would explain very quickly.

I haven't posted here at STR for ages. This is not personal, but more that I have felt that the forum is rather boring. No offence. It's just that you can't go over the same old topics that we were going through a while back (women's ordination, AS, Valid orders, prayer book and liturgy debates etc) without realizing that your spiritual growth is going nowhere. You have to move on as an individual (and perhaps a movement!) or you will just relive the same old junk over and over.

The reason I changed my icon is that I withdrew my support, as a cleric, from the communion I was with under their last Abp. I have since moved on and received another call (temporarily) in a different church family, which has benefited me both spiritually and materially. I also feel more at home in other forums these days.

So, I changed my icon. Those who wanted to know, there you have it. Back to STR lurk for me.

yah, it can get p. boring.

so what church are you serving now? If I may ask? I'm curious and also feel a connection with you if only because of our long history post/lurking here.
