I became Champion of Penguin bashing, but I didn't get more blessings or a little icon on my posts...whats up?

Probably because you're tied with a lot of other people. It's a first come, first serve order: The first person to get the high score gets the title; while the second, third, fourth person, etc.; gets second, third, fourth place, etc.; respectively.
