Challenge: Name This Song!

I've been trying to Google it, but... I just don't know enough of the lyrics to make it work. I know this is going to be pretty vague, but maybe one of you will be able to piece it together. And a lot of the words are probably not right... I think this is what it sounds like, but it doesn't make any sense at all with the few words I have, so I had to go by sound and not comprehension. So pay more attention to the sound of the words than the meaning of the words... and props to you if you can figure it out!

This is part of a verse (I think):
She sits .... staring out the window
Hearing voices .... [maybe something about "the Promised Land"?]

And I'm pretty sure this is part of the chorus:
.... tonight
.... hear you
Can't stop the tears running down her (or "your"?) face
Open her ("your?") heart (or "arms"?) and ..... quiet place

I feel silly posting this already, with such little snippets of lyrics. But you never know.

the only song I can think of [at least for right now] is Gypsy Girl by Everday Sunday, but the only part of that song that matches your song is the 3rd verse & bridge which are together and that part says:

Probably not what you're looking for though. It's a very far fetched chance.. but that's all I could come up with right off hand.
