Challenge: Can you convert me?

i was raised a catholic too and thought i had heard it all before until i read it with my own eyes

Here's an experiment.

I'm offering all christians the chance to convert me, by using any means necesary, this includes bible quotations if they're explained, threatening me with hell, ect, ect, the whole lot.

The purpose, i want to know how you'd go about converting a rabbid heathen pagan into a respectable christian girl. And i think we'll get some debate going, and all learn something from it. I hope we dont just start shouting at eachother...

who says all christian girls are respectable? and who says all non-christian girls are not respectable.

Normally, I never try to convert people. I have 2 reasons.

1. Generally, the person *not saying you are* is trying to bait me. I honestly admit I believe in things that don't make sense and can't be proven. So, I can't argue science with you, (though I believe science and god co-exist/god made science.)

2. A person has to be completely honest about things they have convinced themselves are not true. Getting a person to be honest with someone is one thing, but getting a person to be honest with themselves is a whole other thing. And until they are willing to do that, there is no point.

I'll go ahead and take the bait though, just because I'm sort of interested in seeing how this works...I've also never been on this end of it.

Why are you asking for someone to try and convert you? What are your motives?

Is it all going to be about the boundless love and merciful nature of God?
Give me a synopsis...you dont read novels without reading the back...

the synopsis. I call this: People suck.

God made people so he could love and be loved. same reason many ppl have kids. he gave us perfection, but the free will to choose to love him or not, because love means nothing if it is forced.

instead of loving god and being grateful, people suck. they trashed his gift and got kicked out of Eden...and all humanity suffered for this.

people continued to suck. he tried giving blessings to show love, rescuing his people from egypt and leading them to the promise land. but they worshipped gold cows. people sucked so he tried blowing up cities to scare them straight. they still didn't listen.

so he flooded the world and started over. wouldn't you know it? people still sucked.

he tried everything he could think of to get us on track, but we just sucked. so in a last ditch effort he said "here. my son is the sacrifice for all sins of everyone ever. see I love you? see I want you to be with me? i give up on all of you, you will never be able to come close to being worthy of coming in, but i still love you, so i will do this for you. But I won't force you, so, here's how it is. I'll back off and you make your choice."


turns out, people continue to suck, no matter what. the suckiness is too deep to get rid of. but some of us finally realized how much we suck and are trying to suck less and love god for accepting us even though we suck.

well i'm not god so i can't tell you where you are going. i don't really believe disbelief = hell.

do you believe in God or a god at all? are you an atheist or agnostic?
