Interesting that you say that we have a moronic mindset, when we know that in the 17thC there were no American Western towns (the Eastern seaboard barely even settled), African-Americans are no longer referred to as "negros", not all Jews are from the Turkish-Khazar converts (hardly any, actually), nor are all Jews spiritually rebellious (Jesus and the Apostles come to mind, as do many Jews on this very forum), and most Jews around here are more right wing than left. Then you have the problem that the nation of Israel exists (whether you like it or acknowledge it or not....it's a fact that you have to live with), and this is obviously by God's will (as God is in charge of everything).

Then there's the misquotation of Rev 2:9 and 3:9 to deal with...which is a dreadful mess.

His statement is not a Christ-centered statement and I hope it is not taken as what Christians as a whole think and believe.

There are many who feel like I do: I would stand with Israel against my home country, USA.

My heart and prayers are with Israel.

I find it amazing how narrow minded people can be. Even those of us who claim to know the truth. Our pre-conceived prejudices are not always based on facts. I have noticed that the greatest lies are based on half truths.
When we read a headline “100 people killed” do we need to know who these people were and who killed them before we choose how we respond to the news.
The same type of prejudices that were alive in the world during the time of the 2nd world war and allowed people to look the other way when the Jewish people were being killed, are alive today with the plight of the people in Gaza.
May God open our eyes that we will see Jesus.

The situation in the Middle East just goes to prove the principle that if people will not govern themselves , then they will be governed by another. If the Palestinian people would rise up and rid themselves of terrorists , then they could live in peace. I do not count the Palestian people as innocent when they allow terroists to base their operations amongst them. The bombing might be harsh , but the victims are hardly innocent. they are a people at war with israel. If they consider these events tragic , then they should learn their lesson and pursue peace. War is not pleasant. I have zero sympathy for those who choose war and then want sympathy when they lose.
