CF Upgrade Completed after 5 days of downtime!

Hey, Erwin - I am totally in love with the new edit format on the postings! And the extra features on the "quick reply" box!

This is all too, too much!!

One little observation, howsoever! My text seems to be tucked right up under my CF character's skirt! Any chance of it being dropped down to a more respectable level (the text that is, not the skirt!)!

Well, flaglady, at least you have a CF charcter. I havn't had one since CF came back online. But, I am not complaining, the charcters will come.

I've got a problem that I need posted in the bugs forum, but I can't. Every time I try to reply to anything or make a new topic I get this error code:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/cf/public_html/includes/functions_newpost.php(335) : eval()'d code on line 1

Could you make this bug known for me, so hopefully the admin can fix it? I really want to get back into the forum! Thanks in advance!

I get that or something similar along with the "Thank You For Posting" page. By the way, is there any way, we can just get rid of the "Thank You For Posting" page and make it like it used to be?

I posted about this problem in the "Bugs" thread, but since I've noticed that Erwin told us to post about bugs, as related to the new CF design, on this thread, I am writing about it again. The default font when I go to post is, and has always been, Verdana. My preferred font to use in my posts is Garamonde. However, with the launch of the "new CF," everytime that I go to post, I choose Garamonde for my font, begin to write, and the font immediately changes back to Verdana. I have tried switching back to Garamonde over and over to no avail. As soon as I begin to write, the font always goes back to Verdana. What is causing this problem?

this is what I get when I try to comment on someone's blog ...
print_standard_error(...)
is now redundant. Instead, use
standard_error(fetch_error(...))

I frequently get errors when posting. Such as:

I will say again! Love the new format!

Not sure if this has been noted yet so....

1. Guestbooks are not working; the icon is also missing in profile pages.
   
2. Locating the members last post was not working for me.
   
3. Bank is not allowing collection of interest and it looks like it still needs configuration on percentage or what..
   
4. Some of my threads are now unsubscribed? When I post it is not automatically subscribing.
   
5. My picture is missing on my profile page it shows an outline and an "x"
   
6. When posting it takes me back to the main page, rather than my post.
7. When posting it sends me to a thank you page (a site supporter feature now?) with errors divided by zero

LOVE THE NEW LIST FEATURE! It is so much easier than trying to manually type it out!

I am sure you are aware of these things but posting just in case.

I dont know if this is my computer or done on purpose, but the faith icons are not working. They dont show anyone's faith icon, only mine.

"In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist"

Well, keep testing brother...and good work!I can't post properly...I see all the html coding in the reply and I have no idea how to make paragragh breaks and the like. It's frustrating.....but such is life. Maybe I'll try using my other browser.

is the pages count at the bottom an error or not. They currently read:-

First Prev 8 14 15 16 17 18

It just seems strange to have a gap between 8 and 14. I have also noted it does the reverse in the early pages of the thread.

I'm replying to myself here...but the forum works very well with Netscape. I don't seem to be encountering this problem on that browser.

I'm pretty sure that's intentional because I've seen it on another board.

Bug: Whenever I reply to a thread it takes me back to the first page.
