CF Upgrade Completed after 5 days of downtime!

every time i post i get an announcement and it takes a little for it to go off. It is annoying and I have talked to others that dont have it, could you please fix this?

Also, my CF character's feet are stepping all over the first line of my posts (as viewed in Firefox, at least).

Mouse-hovers over the avatar do not display the custom message.

well, my whole thing is screwy, but I can still post, I have the same problem as snoochface so its not just firefox. hmm, also slow loading.

I have Windows and my browser is AOL (Internet Explorer)...have many bugs trying to post, etc., so Foxfire is not the only one in trouble. At least this morning the website isn't disconnecting my ISP every five minutes or so...then AOL has to reload. The disconnecting problem is my largest along with it moving so slowly that I often get "website is not responding" or it just goes off. Also everytime I post I get a posting announcement box which didn't happen before with the other software. And when logging out I get an error announcement, but click on the print and do get logged out. Seems like a lot of things here are not working or acting weirdly. Thanks so much for getting the page centered. I thought it was just my problem until I read about the others struggling with that here.

What is this 'post announcement' that everyone gets. I've never got it. It does sound annoying.

I can see my character on some posts, and my pet on others. I can't see anyone elses character, and very few pets.

I can't see my character in my posts...but can see it in the armory and in my "sent" in p.m.'s. When it does appear it is hitting the top of my post. So I just lower the post when typing it in the p.m. box.

What about the avatars? Says not part of this domain....would like to change mine and can't.

My username and title under it are both black now...whereas they were in colors.

Finding all of one's posts doesn't work either? But things seem to be gradually getting better. I have been on a half an hour this morning and not disconnected yet.

custon isn't working right, and neither is avatar and signature change, i guess it will all work right in time. I will say the site is getting better and better every day, this is a huge improvement from friday.

I get the same thing with the same warning. Thanks for sharing these things so that Erwin will know what to fix.

Hi, everyone

I didn't know where to post this, so am posting it here as heaps of you will check out this thread. I know some have wished they could delete attachments from locked threads themselves, including me. We used to have to ask a mod to do it for us. Well, I just discovered that it's all go and I was able to delete all the old one-off images I posted months ago in locked threads, which I'm sure no one reads any more. Don't know if it's temporary or not, so I'd delete them now, if you have any you want to get rid of.

so how do you do this?

OK, I have 2 small problems.

First of all, I can't vote in polls. It says the page can't be displayed. However, I looked at the thread in question on anopther machine, and it said I had voted.

The other problem is that I made a post, then wanted to edit it. However, when I looked for the post it wasn't there. But when I looked on anothewr machine, the post was

No seriously it may well be a Browser problem . Have you tried using Firefox ?

I think Erwin has done a splendid job - things have improved enormously and we can see that some things still need sorting out - but no doubt , in the fullness of time , they will be.

But PLEASE can we get our Faith Symbols back ?? - pretty please
