CF Singles Awards - Discussion Thread

I like the male/female version. I'm all for whatever gives more people a chance to win!

I'm against the king and queen because it's really not a God-honoring thing imo and it's a popularity contest. King and queen would no doubt win the majority of other awards as it is. Just my two cents.

Well the reason I don't mind it is because this whole awards deal is a popularity contest, whoever we like the most in each category. By default it would almost be best done by who won the most awards since they would obviously be the most popular and thus King/Queen. Though I like the idea of voting for them separate.

We can't really discount the idea for that reasoning otherwise the whole contest is invalid on that basis. This is about fun, not honoring God, we vote on our opinions. I know it's a christian forum but I think it's nice we can have some solely fun threads as well.

And Rory is right, any voting will be a popularity contest. You may win, you may lose and yes, you might be passed over altogether. That is part of life.

You can always still vote for people if you want to. Usually when voting time comes I PM you with the list of categories and you send me back the names who best fit the category in your opinion that way we keep the voting private.

Also remember, on Sunday I will be making a new thread with a poll, submitting 2-3 category lists and you guys get to choose by majority which list will be for the awards.

Then, I will make another thread after the category list has been chosen, and you guys will post pictures of what you want to see on the award. It'll be a fun way to get everyone involved!

Sorry about the pet awards, I got busy after starting it then kinda forgot about it I will try to finish that up real soon.


Starting to make category lists today, if I think of any categories I will add them to some of the lists I make. Remember - majority wins, so be sure and vote in the category list you like best.
