CF Singles Awards - Discussion Thread

In October was the last time

Wow! Time flies... I thought it was recently...

Then again, CF has been odd time-wise this past handful of months, it feels like it has been both shorter and longer at the same time.

People making huge life decisions, moving, getting married, traveling...
it's hard to believe so much has gone on in only 4 months around here.

On the other hand you've got the fact that CF has maintained a large amount of regulars as well as new folks with threads that still remain forum favorites.

What's that saying? The more things change, the more they stay the same?

I don't think this has ever been more true! Lol! I was thinking along the same lines - didn't we just do this? Wow, the last 4 months have flown by. Certainly an eventful time for CF Singles.

And the other two are great ideas as well.

I'll be honest; I wasn't around for the previous award ceremony so I'm not quite sure what they feel like so I'll keep my two cents out until it's time to vote. Then the next go round I'll be able to have more input.

Just wanted to remind everyone y'all have until Sunday to throw out some ideas for categories. Whether or not any more categories are suggested i will still make 2-3 lists of categories for y'all to vote on, so get them in while you can

I'm on board with having an award for the King and Queen of CF.


Uhhhh.... but first, can someone explain to me what those are? The most active? The most beloved? Who keeps CF together? The "It" couple of CF?

When I think of King and Queen of CF I think of most active/most beloved. Kind of like an award above all awards type deal. Or something. I dont know. but if we have it, theres other awards we can switch since they're similar.

Edit: And if we have King/Queen, a girl & guy can win so it's more times the fun.

I like these categories, they're different and I like the mix of old and new.

I personally like this idea. I believe you had it like that first time, or some of the categories had that option. But yeah, you have my vote.

I'm cool with the male/female versions and definitely like the King/Queen award. All sounds good so far.

I'm against the king and queen because it's really not a God-honoring thing imo and it's a popularity contest. King and queen would no doubt win the majority of other awards as it is. Just my two cents.
