Also, if you are dating someone from CF, did you meet before it happened?

Lisa and I decidedn that we had to meet to make sure there really was something between us before we started to date.

I met my fiance on here. We never actually defined when we became BF/GF, but we were definitely in a relationhip before we'd actually met in person. He proposed four days after our first actual date.

Nope. Met my SO the old fashioned way, through other friends. Most of my family and friends don't even know about CF. I use it as a place where I can vent about some of them when I need it and it is just a place for me as a whole.

I know this question was not directed at me, but I choose to answer anyways. From my current location, Caleb and I are 8 hours by plane if there was such thing as a direct flight. Otherwise, it takes about 12 hours to get there, once you go through customs and have a short stop over. Once I get home though, it is about 4 1/2 hours on a plane, or 3 days driving.
Luckily we do go to school together though.

That really sucks. When she's at home she's 400 miles away, and when we're both at school...well, about 12 hours.

Not on CF. We both mutually posted on an Australian dance music forum, where most of us are friends IRL anyway. We go to gigs together, have bbqs, do the things normal friends do, it's more local than this kind of forum. I'd seen his SN but never really looked twice. He spoke to me on the forums, I didn't notice. I was at a night my friends were running, and he saw me, I didn't see him. We both ended up at a mutual friends place the next day, and it went from 'You're "The Julikenz" (have another SN there) from Y forum, aren't you?'

So we kind of met through a forum, but not *on* the forum.

good for the ppl here, but i for one (at this moment nehow) hate this very thought, esp. since i had to discover that someone had spent much of their heart on sb they met here or another place like this, cant recall which. and that after something else id almost overlooked. there's such a thing as asking too much from u.
