I think I'm going to participate in this one. I have some good ideas, but I would like to know what dimensions each banner needs to be.

Ok, I got the dimensions of the left-hand and right-hand borders by right-clicking on them. Hopefully I've gotten these the correct size.

I may post a second version of this later this week, though I'm not sure.

How do I get the middle piece?

you can create your own middle piece, but I believe it will have to tile seamlessly - so bare that in mind (mine are actually made up of three pieces - not sure if that's obvious from the way I've posted them , the middle piece can be tiled without it being noticed)

I believe the middle piece is 12x64 pixels. The left side of the banner is 341x64 and the right side is 371x64. Hope that helps

Yeah I already made it, I'm working on my last peice but can't seem to find something so I might have to work on it tomorrow lol.

This is the current "middle" bit

but the width as such isn't that important because it tiles in the background of the banner so that if you make the browser wider, it's filled in and doesn't have a gap in the overall image

so by tiling it you get this effect

to cover in as much space as required - depending on any individual user's browser width

I dig this one, but if it was me Id just simply quote Isaiah "he was pierced for our transgressions..." then lead it into a short quip about him being Risen. Or simply quote:

I don't know! I just made the pics the same size as the ones I downloaded from the top.

So the middle piece has to not have any graphic on but just a blend between the left and right side banners?

I believe so.It can't be tiled otherwise.Too bad,it's a nice design.
