This is hopfully the start of a good rp. Only two restriction to help focus this rp. Contempary of the 'Dark Ages' are the only beings allowed but fantasy creatures are allowed. So young elfs and other mythical creature are allowed. The main setting of the Rp will start in a mountain village, that has been resently decimated in a troll attack.

At that exact moment, a noise was heard in the rubble of what was her house. The back of a bald, green head wrapped about the neck in a brown cloak suddenly sat up amidst the rubble. "Ugh," it said in a deep, glottal voice. "I really have to stop waking up like this." A large, thick, green hand touched the back of the head in several places and winced several times. He rubbed around the back of his neck. "Ugh...such a headache."

(((As is my custom, I shall post my character's info after his name first appears.)))

Anandli woke up, and images of the day before screamed through his mind. The troll war seemingly beating in his head, and the frightened cries of the townsman coursing along each nerve and synapse brought his hand to the mid point of his staff, where his allowed the calming feel of the enchanted wood flow through his weary body. Images of the trolls throwing themselves against the scant lines of warriors in attempt to crush them quickly, other images of burning houses and buildings and people left him feeling drained again. He remembered the fight at the inn. A troll shaman created a portal inside the towns' walls and I was sent to dispatch him. The shaman sent wave after wave of arcane magic against the magic shield protecting me , but my shield didn't falter. I remember the shaman summoning a large fire ball and crashing it into the occupied inn causing vast ammounts of rubble to pour out of the resulting hole. I sent up a large ball of water and perged the rubble of mortal and mud, leaving easily dodged blocks. I then sent three ball balls of ice out against the shaman, but he couldn't conjure a shield in tie to block them, so them punctured him and shattered inside him. That image made me crasp my staff tighter drawing more healing magic into myself.

I got up off of the robes he was using as a makeshift bed. I walked out over to the broken fountain that was once the great centre piece of the town. I dipped my left hand into the fountain drawing water energy into my skin, in effect washing myself, I the dirt and sweat into my right hand, and then project the grime into the earth. I draw just a little more energy into myself and quench my thirst. I head back over to the inn where i fought the shaman. I plan on making sure that the shaman energy in lost this earth forever. When I get to the inn I start to look for his skull necklace which is the last repository of his magic, I eventually find the necklace buried but only half broken in the rubble of a nearby house. I take the necklace back the makeshift hovel i contructed after yesterdays troll actack, I take the the large silver bowl out of my bag and fill it with water. I charge the water with magic energy, and mix this charged water with a some ammount of blessed water. I place the necklace into this pure charged water and watch as it slowly is eaten away by the potent magic. I separate the burnt slurry from the water and pouch it up. I head back out toward the town green where many of the survivors have taken up residents in tent and hovels.

Looks into the distance and near the the fire gutted remains of a house sees a orcish creature and a elf talking to each other. As the elf starts to slowly walk into the house I get close enough to here what they are saying.

Upon hearing the elf request the help of her friend, I briskly walk to greet her.
"Mae govanan Arwen en amin" *
As I get closer to the house and it's occupants, i reveal my face my taking my hood down, I also strap my staff into it's sheath on my back as a sign of peace.
"Arwen en amin perhaps I could help. I heard that you have some possesions buried in the cellar, I'm sure that me and your friend here would be able to retrive you goods."
I turn slightly so that i can see both the orc and the elf. I bow my head and wait for a reply.
"My name Arwen en amin is Anandli"

The orc, upon hearing voices behind him, but still to dazed to quite know what was happening, stood slowly and carefully. He turned with his right hand on his forehead. He blinked several times and tried to clear his thoughts. His head throbbed. Never had he felt such a headache before. He tried to look at these fellows, but the brightness was to much for his throbbing skull.
He groaned and let out a slight growl. "Who are you?" he asked, his voice betraying his frustration with the pain.

Maelui shifted in the celler under the house, she heard voices, footsteps, and a rather commanding yet graceful voice speaking in a language she had all but forgotten; elven.
She rose from a pile of debris and thanked some form of higher power for sparing her immortal soul from the troll attack, it had been so very long that she had to take shelter in a town frought with war, she had almost become complacent with her battle skills.
She moved a rather large piece of stone from her legs as if it were a scrap of cloth and rose as the boulder hit the floor with a loud thud, "Great" she muttered, now they'd definatly know she was down here. She shrunk back across the floor into some dark shadows that covered a corner and waited, they'd be down soon enough... and she'd be ready...

Maelui shifted in her shadows, she felt like such a coward from hiding down here, but hopefully, those voices would go away soon enough. She couldnt quite make out what they were saying, but from their different accents, she made out two, maybe three people upstairs. She stepped form the shadows, and not looking where she was going, tripped over the boulder she had moved from her legs and landed with a crash flat on her face. She got up and brushed the dust and dirt from her black cape and muttered something about her own stupidity
