Rus was about to answer as another being came into sight. A bit of a conversation of which Rus understood none took place, and Zita went down into the cellar.
"It was just some glass," Rus mumbled, no one listenning to him.
He continued to finger his axe. All this talk of energy and magic made him a bit nervous, or bored. He cared for none of it. Though, perhaps if he could find a way to sharpen his axe, that may spark his interest.
"Excuse me, Zita, but what exactly do you have down there? Will you need any help to carry it?"
Rus remembered what she had done with the door, and realized that she probably would not.

Maelui smiled at the mage, so, he had notced her body's natural reaction to one as powerful as his energy supposed. She stepped from the shadows and brushed past him, her long and untamed red hair catching slightly on his cloak as she stood behind him and slowly placed her hand on his back. She cosed her eyes and proceeded to draw the energy from him until she had just enough, it wasnt her custom to feed from one such as he. She stepped back and walked into the light. Her jet black revealing armour glinted in the minimal sunlight and the slight breeze made her hair twitch and flick at the ends. She was about to leave when she felt something inside her hold her back. She stopped and turned back, looked at the other all huddled together in the celler entrance and waited. For what, she did not know. But she blamed the mage... something in his energy had stayed her hand from fleeing, something troubling him maybe? She pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind and waited once more.

Rus smiled impishly. "Be glad to," he said, as he squeezed down into the celler. It was a tight fit for him, but he managed to make it down. He took in the scene.
It was likely an average cellar, but a bit nicer. there were things here and there, none of which he recognised. The floor was dirt. It was only a little over 6 feet high, so he had to duck his head as he moved around. Making sure he had the right door, he reeled back for a swing with his axe. He could not get a clean swing, but his strength, as well as the condition of the house, made the first swing enough. He set his axe against the wall and pushed the door, and with a great crack, it gave way and Rus broke through.

Maelui watched wiht some intrigue... why was this one packing? she spoke up, "If you do not mind my inquiring, but where is that you were heading to? Or rather, what is it that you require supplies for...?

If they were traveling her way, it would be nice to have some company for a change

Rus too was curious, but more in the contents of the room. "What sort of potions do you have in here?" he asked, noticing many bottles around the walls. "I know the skills of apothecary, medicine making. What are all these? Is there anything I could take?"

Rus began to look over some of the herbs. The powders were more of his interest; they were easier to carry. He took a few of his favorites: Aethiopica, Rhus, and Nummajus. Many were herbs and plants he had never heard of, and a few were rarities he had only imagined. He gasped as he passed by a bag, "Cornucopia root," Rus said with amazement. "Your parents were indeed grand collectors; I don't know if you realize, but this ingredient can be used to create a number of wonder-drugs."
He took several scoops of the powder before moving on. After a few more ingredients, he decided he had taken enough. "I am in your debt, milady. I pledge my service to you until I can repay the favor you have done to me. I will be outside, waiting for you; this cellar of yours is a bit small for me."
With that, Rus turned and went outside, with some effort going up the stairs.

When both Zita and rus had came up out of the cellar, went down to check something and came up very quickly. "Maelui here" I throw a necklace to Maelui. "It is a water infused gem it will let me know when needing to be fed and then will send you some energy. Wear it only if you want it." Turns to fully face Maelui "And it will only allow 5 transactions, so it only a temporary thing."

"Zita you seem to preparing for a jorney, i think all of us want to know where your destination is."

Maelui smiled and wrapped her hands around the water gem, she nodded her head and placed the black cord around her neck. the amulet shimmered in the nearby sunlight and she felt it almost comforting the curse that she bore that meant she had to feed off those who possess more power than the average... "Thank you Mon Cherie, this gift will be greatly treasured."

She got up and wandered back to the basement hatch and peered into the small room, watching the herbs and plants exchange eager hands, she smiled, remembering the days where she quickly learned plant lore when she was stranded in the great forests some hundreds of miles from here. She turned back, and not looking where she was going, drifted outside into the light and met with Russ.

"Good Day Russ"

Rus (((Not Russ))) looked down at the young girl who had almost run into her. He smiled, slung his battle axe over his shoulder, and spoke; "Good day, Miss, uh... Mayliu, was it?"
Rus' ears (((or sort-of ears))) caught what Zita said from the cellar. "Trolls? And we are going after them? Good. My axe blade is a bit thirsty."

"Maelui, yes." She turned to the voice that came from inside the hut, "Trolls? That is a dangerous mission Ma Cherie, pray let me go with you, i have a score to settle with the local hoard that destroyed this village..."
