Did they let something slip in the previews? Donald says "You're a champion, but you're fired." Did I hear that right?

You heard it right. We had the same reaction at our house - has to mean the men's team lost, right? Now that Nadia is gone, there are no champions on the women's team anymore.
I thought the same thing but I don't think it was a slip, I think it was intentional.....can't wait to see who they were eluding to because I truly don't believe it's who they want us to think it is!!!

Anyone else think he did that on purpose?
Totally.

Trump is drooling to fire Nelly. Begging for it. Practically asking for it, and would have asked for it if he could have gotten away with it. :sigh:

Oh, and nice deceptive advertising in last week's promo, NBC! The "champion" sound bite wasn't referring to this week's results at all!

The question is, was it his ego or did he just get bored.
That's a good question. And it could go either way, really.

All I know is the show just lost a lot of its appeal to me. Having Piers and Omorosa there to despise and laugh at will help, though. ;)

Probably some of both. He stands for what he does 110% just like Trump. And he thought Kodak was so wrong in their choice. So he was like go ahead & fire me.

At first thought, yes. On second thought, maybe no.

Totally.

I know. When I saw the scene that had him saying those words, I knew right away that they edited them out to use in the previews. What suckers we are!

I can't believe he did that....He must've needed to get out to do his Uglyt Betty scenes.

I don't know about that. He may have had other reasons. These show appearances are set-up well in advance. I do think his attitude definitely played into it. One thing is for sure, he KNEW that if he brought back Nelly, she'd be fired.

Overall, it was a great episode and one of the most interesting boardroom scenarios ever!

Really? I actually think this is a lot cooler than the normal Apprentice.

It seems like some people don't like celebrity editions of any reality shows for some reason, but I love those most of all! It's something different, and you get a chance to see celebrities put in positions & situations they wouldn't normally face.

Makes for good TV!

I think the novelty of this show is wearing off quickly.
