I was a huge fan in 7th and 8th grade. My first boyfriend had KISS stuff all over his walls. I think I even had a t-shirt.

Carol Alt's not a nobody, either. She's one of the most popular models in the world.

Vincent Pastore was a popular actor on one of the most popular shows, "The Sopranos", in recent history.

Lennox Lewis was three time heavyweight champ, wasn't he?

I don't listen to "country" radio these days, but isn't Trace Adkins supposed to be pretty popular?

Don't take offense at my use of the term "nobodies". They were all somebody in their time. If this were 1979 and Gene Simmons were on a show, it would be huge. If it were 1982 and Marilu Henner were on a show, it would be big news.

But in 2008, they are at best B-list celebrities. They still have a lot of fans, they are still (mostly) well-known. My issue was with Trump talking like every big star in Hollywood, "huge names" as he put it, wanted to be on his show. In 2008, many of these people are not huge names. That's all I meant.

LOL, I think I need to brush up on my communication skills or something.

I don't care if the celebs on the show are B-List, C-List, or Kathy Griffin. I think they are all wonderful people, well-known names, with lots of fans, and very entertaining to watch! My issue was not with the celebrities themselves, but with Donald Blowhard Trump claiming that "everyone in Hollywood, all the BIG NAMES" wanted to be on his show.

That leaves one with the impression that Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, and McDreamy were all vying to be on the show. It was Trump tooting his horn and once again overstating his (and his show's) popularity that I was commenting on.

You heard it right. We had the same reaction at our house - has to mean the men's team lost, right? Now that Nadia is gone, there are no champions on the women's team anymore.
