CD removal

How do I get a CD out of a dead computer? This one doesn't have a hole in the front of the cd player.

If your computer is no good, and it does not matter if it is disassemble , then just take it apart.

Ideally I would take the drive out and put it in my active computer but I am not up to it so I was hoping for a 5 minute fix.

Well,. Most said the hole in the front so I thought I must have missed it and I did. So I got it out.
Pretty funny, my good sort of, computers CD player won't eject. Lol, I will keep trying. SHEESH!

Far as I know pulling the CD drive out and putting it in another device is a 5 minute fix. Based on my experience, they can literally be pulled out just using your thumb and forefinger.

Who me? I found that out by accident. Now that was from a laptop. Pulling one from a desktop unit would be more complicated. I'd need to watch one or more how to videos for that.
