CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

*Roof Chicken*
One day a State Trooper was pulling off an expressway near Chicago. When he turned onto the street at the end of the ramp, he noticed someone at a chicken place getting into his car. The driver placed the bucket of chicken on top of his car, got in and drove off with the bucket still on top of his car.
So the trooper decided to pull him over and perform a community service by giving the driver his chicken. So he pulled him over, walked up to the car, pulled the bucket off the roof and offered it to the driver.
The driver looked at the trooper and said, "No thanks, I just bought some."

I was having a terrible time. I could see and read everything, but I could not reply. It lasted for about 15 minutes. You might seen another reply of mine where I was trying to get back in. It says something like ;oakwjdfad.

I have had no trouble posting since logging on. Before it went down I started having trouble, and saw it coming

Yeah...CF was all goofy this morning. It went awol twice on me when I was trying to post. I finally gave up. Now of course, I don't remember what I was going to say!Okay was it me, it may be, I tried to get on here for hours and could not. Not even with the www1. address and all the other numbers I could add. I saw ppl posted in that time frame though. I tried IE, firefox and netscape too.

I've had trouble on and off all afternoon. I even restarted my high-speed DSL modem. Also, eventually I couldn't get back on.
