  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I will be praying for you about your husband and having 3 teenagers.
Although with the teenagers some prozac or a box of wine might be more helpful.;)

Yep, I saw it...it's on TV often.
It really is beautiful here...but then, I think every place has a beauty of it's own....that's easy to take for granted!

She's so adorable, isn't she? And it's so pure, and clean and innocent. *happy sigh*

England has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, I think. Every shade of green you can imagine, and wild blackberries that grow alongside the road, and you can stop and pick them and look at all these green rolling meadows. I think because it tends to rain here a lot, and it makes everything so lush and crisp.

Then we have all these old villages, with cottages that are 800 years old with flowers crawling up the walls and filling the gardens, and the village will have one little high street with shops that make fudge, one little post office and a shop that sells bread, newspapers and milk and not much else :D

But am in London, and it can be magical, but it's also a fairly unforgiving environment in some ways. We have some areas that haven't changed from the Victorian times, and there are these little, narrow, winding, cobbled streets, and when you walk along them, it really does feel like you've time travelled back a hundred years. In general, though, it's very, very built up, though. And loud, and expensive and people are always in a hurry. But we have a *huge* river called the Thames which dissects it into North and South London, and the Houses of Parliament and a thousand other incredible buildings line the river on both sides, and when you go over one of the bridges at night, all these buildings are lit up and the light reflects off the river and it's incredible.

England is kinda cool, I guess  There are obviously loads of other aspects, but those are the first things I think of.

It sounds really beautiful there Anna!! A great place to visit!! I have friends that are from the London area and they said there was tons of rain there this summer causing horrible flooding. Has that affected you any?
