  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i love this musical, merely for the dancing, if you appreciate dancing, then you'll love this. They get the motion of cats just smack on, and it takes alot of skill to put it across. The costumes are fantastic, and really make you believe the cast are actually felines!

The story lines a little far - fetched, but a brilliant musical, one of my favourites, just for the stage, secenary and dancing. Its not the most musically Amazing musicals, And Les Mis beats it, however, its just a really good Musical, in my opinion obviously!

Since it's assembled from a book of poems about cats, it doesnt have much of a plotline. Basically the only plot involves the character of Grizabella the Glamour Cat--a faded old cat who once was very beautiful and had a shady past but is now scorned by the younger ones. The cats all come sing their songs (which serve to introduce them as characters from all walks of life) and dance their dances (which they won't let Grizabella join in). At the end of the show, Old Deuteronomy (the revered elder and grandfather cat) chooses one of them to ascend to "The Heaviside Layer"--a sort of cat heaven where a cat will be reborn into the next of their nine lives.

The coolest makeup effects and it's fast paced dancing.I agree about the songs though, maybe 1 or 2 that I recall.I didn't see it on stage but rented the Film.
I don't know many people that really love Cats because it lacked great songs, that made a difference. Still, they put alot into the cat's designs and they were great dancers.
