• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How is your life going these days?
Same as usual! I look after the family, go to work, play with the cat and dog, visit my family, play my music and read my books and the such like. I have arthritis in all my joints at the moment, but it's gradually getting better on the meds, so I'm moving round a little more quickly.
Hubbie goes away tonight to Lourdes in France for a week, so that'll leave me on my own doing all the above and he's a much better organiser than me, so expect chaos to ensue!
Spiritually, I'm still an atheist despite my attempts to believe in something outside myself. I feel as if I;m now colour blind in that direction.
But I'm content with what we have and despite the ups and downs, life goes on whether I want it to or not, so I just get on with it!

Does this mean we'll be seeing a political affiliation tag on you some time in the future?

have you been enjoying the balloon in the jar, or not?
I like putting it in and out...
So I guess I enjoy it in the jar and out.
Does this mean we'll be seeing a political affiliation tag on you some time in the future?
No, probably not. My political affiliation is a moving feast and varies depending whether we're talking Westminster, Welsh Assembly or European Parliament.
They'd have to make a motile multi-coloured tag...

If you were a fish, what color your mind be?
Purple...
I presumed I had a choice, though it is news to me that fish get to pick the colour of their minds.
I like purple.
When I am an old woman (not very far away,) I shall wear purple...

So . . . . was it hard having to ride a dinosaur to school when you were a kid?
Harder than you think. The T Rex would try and snap you off and the Velo.raptors didn't seem to have much of a sense of fun...
But the scars healed quickly...

I like silly questions.
I don't like being silly, like forgetting to change my alarm clock after the night before when it had been on very early to wake me up to wake up hubbie to get his taxi to go away.
That's a very silly thing to do when you are having difficulty sleeping anyway...
