That is flat out gross.
I had a pet guinea pig when I was a child. We kept in the garage because it smelled so bad. We had to clean the cage often or the smell would permeate the house. When it comes to eating them, I'm not sure which is worse, rats or guinea pigs; but it's rare that people keep rats as pets. I don't go grocery shopping for rodents at the pet store. Gross!

Yeah, I don't think I would like it either. However, when I first saw deep-fried day old chicks being sold in the Philippines, I thought that was pretty gross also, but once I tried them, they were pretty tasty. And at 3 for a little over 50 cents, a cheap snack.

Nothing to see here, the vendor in that video is roasting guinea pigs,
So where does one buy live USDA inspected guinea pigs, ready for gutting, and turning on a rotisserie, for public consumption?

Does the health department send out an inspector to make sure that the pallets that they stole from outside of the chemical plant are burning at the proper temperature to kill off the microbes and parasites?

Zachary Bauer exposes the lies being told about cats, and rats, and water fowl.

The only thing he debunked were claims about where it was happening, not what the animal was.

And he repeated the lie about crime being "through the roof."

Oh, and now he's blaming his lies and misinformation on poor parenting from liberals. Nice

Pigs and cows both smell pretty bad and we eat them all the time.

Squirrels are rodents and lots of people eat them.

Most bigger cities have ethnic or exotic meat markets where you can get stuff like this. I don't know where one would go in NYC, but Savenor's in Boston could probably source them. Here in Baltimore, there's a burger place that specializes in exotic burgers like camel and kangaroo. For something that appeals to a less affluent crowd, I'd probably start at H-Mart.

Does the health department send out an inspector to make sure that the pallets that they stole from outside of the chemical plant are burning at the proper temperature to kill off the microbes and parasites?

Why do you assume they're using reclaimed pallet wood?

Well... So is a lot of food regularly eaten by a lot of Americans depending on who you ask, so that's a very VERY subjective thing.

Some people are disgusted by pork consumption just to be fair.

Yep. As a side note, for something considered unusual food in the US, I actually like fried and dried crickets. And snake is damn delicious. But then again, I'm particular to chicken instead of red meat.

Fascinating.

I probably wouldn’t try either of those.

I would suggest trying snake if you ever get a chance. It's like tastier chicken in my opinion. Had it first time when I visited China in the 90s.

That is flat out gross.

I am now never ever eating anything in a restaurant in New York....

I will definitely not be making any tourist stops there...

Horrific.

There's a place here that sells live chickens. You pick out the one you want and they slaughter it. I've never been tempted for reasons of cleanliness. If the place was nice I'd procure the heads for bone broth. You don't eat them for squeamish types. There's more cartilage than the paws but they're not allowed to sell them. I learned that from my farmer. They have to toss them and they're retrieved by a service that combines the scraps for dog food.

We have a place in the suburbs that specializes in exotic meat. You can get a lot of things including ostrich. I've heard it's leaner and may try it. I like sourcing food. I've found camel and water buffalo milk (for genuine mozzarella). It keeps things interesting palate wise and gives you more options when supply is limited.

Most Americans don't eat nose to tail consensually, but they're consuming things they wouldn't otherwise in ground meat, sausages, hot dogs and so on.
