Notice the name of the church where the ordination occurred. Looks like the Jubilee! Faith Community has a new priestess on their hands. As a Catholic, I don't feel saddled with her at all. To me she is just one more Protestant. She gave up her claims to be Catholic when she had her attempted ordination.

Never been there myself. I would hope she has some sort of gut check about it. Maybe she will decide that she's gone over the top and she will back away from what she did.

She wouldn't be a Protestant without holding to Protestant beliefs. She's more like an uncanonical Old Catholic.

Article said she grew up Presbyterian -- perhaps she should have stayed in that denomination as the ordination of women is fairly common there.

While I personally don't have a problem with women being ordained (odd for a Southern Baptist to say, I know), the Catholic stance on the issue is well known.
