  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like the second one myself.

I didn't know there were Catholic alarm clocks. Most of my clocks are kind of secular.....I think.....

When I have to wake up before the chickens crow, I have two alarms to make sure I get up when I'm suppose to. Also, the second alarm is just in case the elctricity goes out. It's happened more than once.

You know I've been really wanting a Catholic alarm clock for a while! I thought maybe there are alarm clocks out there for people who have to take lots of pills that would suffice, you know with multiple alarm settings--

I want a clock that chimes at 6:00 am, noon, & 6:00 pm for the Angelus. 3:00 for Divine Mercy-- and maybe morning and night alarms for sleeping. (with little kids I don't usually set an alarm in the morning, but I do at night sometomes to help with the self discipline of going to bed at a decent hour.)
