CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My cat Charlie usually only wants to be held when she wants something. Like FOOD!!!My kitty - just barely tolerating being held.
I haven't had a male cat in a long time, but my mother has a male cat, and he is pretty affectionate.

my female cat got fixed yesterday... she is home today.
i didn't realize that she had to be caged 3-4 days after she gets home... i feel horrible... and my other cat, curie, he has been crying for her all day...at first she was upset, but she has been sleeping the rest of the day...

I never was told to cage my cat just to try to keep her from jumping up and down on things. Poor little thing. I hope she is better very soon and they can both be together soon.
