CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's one of my very own kitties, Sugar, when she was a baby. Her eyes are still bright blue. She's my beauty...a long haired, pointed, siamese mix. I call her Shug, 'cuz I'm country :

And here's my other kitty, Tiger. He's just like Garfield, lol...he holds his tail straight up in the air when he walks, lol, and swishes it from side to side constantly...his tail never stops. He's a full grown cat, but he's still got a really squeaky "baby" meow...it's adorable. But, his squeaky voice, combined with the picture below (which his favorite sleeping spot in the house...my daughter's princess pillows) cause my husband to make constant jokes about my poor little Tiger man's sexuality.

I think the squeaking must be a tabie thing because my Sunshine does it too.
of course Athena- my tourtois colored- she's a chirpper- sounds more like a bird than a meow. LOL

lol! yes, she was fluffy, all right! Her name was Roxy, and she weighed 17 lbs when she died in the house fire we had!

She was an awesome cat. She hated thunderstorms, and could hear thunder before anyone else could. She would low crawl to the nearest crevice, and squash all 17 pounds there!! And she would not be seen til it was over!
