Cat Thread!

I have an attack kitten jumping and biting my elbows as I type; any suggestions??
She is my dd's baby; and dd is gone, so she's lonesome.

2. Thou shalt not unroll all of the toilet paper off the roll.
3. Thou shalt not project hairballs from the top of the refrigerator.
4. Thou shalt not sit in front of the television as if thou art invisible.
5. Thou shalt not jump onto thy sleeping human’s bladder at 3 A.M.
6. Thou shalt not reset thy human’s alarm clock by walking on it.
7. Thou shalt not trip thy humans, even if they are walking too slowly.
8. Thou shalt not push open the bathroom door when there are guests in thy house.
9. Thou shalt not jump on the toilet seat just as thy human is sitting down.
10. Thou shalt attempt to show remorse when being scolded.

Sounds like she just wants to play. My cat gets in moods and she will grab and bite my ankle when I walk by.

Her eyes, they don't see colour,
Her world is black and white,
But she has the advantage
Of seeing all, at night.

She doesn't understand much,
But then, she's still no fool,
For anything she has learnt,
Has not been taught at school.

She's innocence personified,
A joy to watch at play,
A quiet, shy companion,
Of sunshine, she's a ray.

Her conversation's limited,
In fact, if truth be heard,
She only has a repertoire
Of one quite simple word.

Her day is most spent sleeping,
Or doing this or that,
And if you haven't guessed by now,
This female is....................My Cat.

For by myself I cannot fend,
'Cause I'm your helpless feline friend.

My cat, Candy died in February of '04. She has a twin sister, Amber who is still with us. Candy was 6 and had severely underdeveloped kidneys, which ultimately led to her death. I still cry when I think about her from time to time. Is it weird to be grieving over a pet this long after their death? I was away for the weekend when she died. I don't have a picture of her, but she looked exactly like the cat in this picture.

Awww!! She looks just like my Charlie! I know you miss her! I lost two cats in a fire 5 years ago. I know the feeling!

Thank you, Renee! It is a terrible feeling, isn't it? I was advised to go out and replace her, but I just can't seem to! Amber(her twin), probably wouldn't put up with an addition right now, anyway. I will get another kitty when I feel I'm ready,though.

Yeah, I know hoiw that goes!! Charlie doesn't tolerate other kitties in our household, We've tried twice! She barely tolerates the dog! But, the dog is smaller than she is (4.9 lbs to 8 lbs!!) so, she generally leaves her alone mostly!
